I bought this as a first baby doll for my 6 month old. The face is so sweet and everything looks very durable. I know that she will spend a lot of time chewing on the hands and carrying it around by the night cap - all of which it should survive. It's the perfect size for small hands. I do wish that it was machine washable though.
