Lovely lantern, nice style, a little difficult to assemble

We purchased a dozen of these from a commercial vendor that offered a quantity discount.They arrived neatly packaged with one lantern per carton, but with the large glass shade packaged separately from the bulk of the lantern. We had to attach the shade by capturing it inside the four bars and the lower ring, using eight small screws to attach the bars at the top and to the lower ring.The instruction sheet optimistically predicts about 5 minutes to assemble with a single screwdriver. After completing the full dozen, I averaged about 15 minutes each. Assembly would not have been possible without a right-angle phillips driver to manage the screws at the top of the fixture where a normal driver would have to pass through the lamp socket to reach the screw head. I think this is a case of never requiring either the product designer or the technical writer to actually test the instructions.In spite of the assembly difficulty, I still rate this lantern highly because of its otherwise solid construction and nice design.

Fantastic exterior lights!

Best price found online. We purchased these lights years ago from Great Indoors. Just finishing a remodel and needed 3 more.With GI no gone, had to find the lights. Went to amazon first... and of course the best price.These lights are unique and add much character to our ranch style home.
