The primary use of the Dutch oven is to slowly braise or simmer. World Cuisine Round CAst Iron Dutch Oven

I love this Dutch Oven. I returned the oval one for a round one and received it in no time. These are wonderful and they come real close to resembling the look of Le Cresuet without the high price.
